Bridge Inspection Program
Background Information
Bridge inspections are required to be completed by a qualified bridge inspection engineer who visually inspects the City's 23 bridges and ancillary structures.
Bridge inspections were completed in the summer of 2024. The City will prioritize the bridges that need maintenance based on the final report.
Project Details
Scope of works for this project will include field inspection with traffic control and access equipment and a final report outlining the following:
- An executive summary
- Quality assurance and control plan
- Updated bridge valuation spreadsheet
- Updated load capacities
- Summary of maintenance concerns including estimates and prioritization
