Inclusion, Diversity and Accessibility Action Plan
The Mayor’s Task Force on Inclusiveness, Diversity and Accessibility has created a plan to help make Chilliwack a more inclusive, diverse, and accessible community. The Action Plan focuses on six long-term goals.
To support an inclusive, diverse, and accessible community where all residents have the opportunity to thrive.
|More accessible City buildings, programs, parks and public spaces (learn more)
|The well-being of marginalized community members
|Relationship building with Indigenous neighbours
|Equity and inclusion education for City staff
|Broader public participation in City processes
|Funding opportunities to support inclusion, diversity, and accessibility
How we will get there:
The Action Plan lists steps the City can take to get to each goal. Some of these steps are already underway, and others will take time. Read the Action Plan for more information.
