Where
Bailey Road from Chilliwack River Road to Matheson Road
Purpose
Tzeachten First Nation, in partnership with the City of Chilliwack, is making improvements along Bailey Road between Chilliwack River Road and Matheson Road over the next few months. Located along the south side of Bailey Road, this project will see:
- New asphalt multi-use pathway.
- Surface water drainage improvements.
- Pathway pavement markings and signage.
Multi-use pathways are off-street pathways that are physically separated from motor vehicle traffic and can be used by people walking, cycling, skateboarding and other active modes that are non-motorized. This will create an important connection to Chilliwack River Road providing residents with access to transit, schools and shopping.
