Downtown Breezeway and Yale Road Crosswalk

Downtown Breezeway – Yale Road to Victoria Parking Lot

Construction Progress

Downtown Breezeway - July2.jpg

Underground works are completed in the breezeway and on the north side of  Yale Road. Concrete pouring in the breezeway is complete and pouring on Yale Road is scheduled for late August. Traffic disruptions are expected for works along  Yale Road, where the new crosswalk will be installed, to ensure the new curb can be poured safely.

Landscaping, metal architectural features, and other minor works are scheduled to be completed in September. Should weather cooperate, a soft opening is scheduled for mid-September.

Marex Constuctors began construction at the end of May and are scheduled to finish by mid-September.

The breezeway may need to be closed at times to facilitate a safe work area. The City thanks everyone for their patience while this work is completed.
