The Ryder Lake Ramble self-guided tour of farms and gardens in Ryder Lake is back on again this year! Admission is free but donations are much appreciated. All funds raised will go towards Hall renovations and repairs. Wristbands and maps will be available at the Ryder Lake Hall, 49265 Elk View Rd. Also at the Hall there will be food for purchase and community displays.

Hops & Heritage focuses on the local craft brewing and hops industry in Chilliwack, and how this industry has played an important role in the development of our economy, identity, and heritage. Join us on the grounds of the Chilliwack Museum on June 25, 2022, for the launch of Hops & Heritage. Admission $5 (CMHS Members) or $10 (General Public) (Free for Children & Youth) Drink Tickets 1 for $5 or 3 for $12 Beer garden featuring Bricklayer Brewing, Farmhouse Brewing, Fieldhouse Brewing, Flashback Brewing, and Old Yale Brewing! Becky's Grill2Go will be onsite from 3:00pm to 8:00pm serving your favourite snacks! Live music featuring The Maybelles and Jada Mckenzie-Moore. Select panels and artifacts from "The Hops Connection: From Industry Gold to Lasting Legacy". Food! Games! Art! Shopping! Door Prizes! At the launch, and throughout the summer, people will be able to purchase a Hops & Heritage Passbook from the Chilliwack Museum; each page of the passbook will feature a different local brewery. Passbooks will then be presented at participating breweries and be given a stamp indicating they have visited the brewery. The more stamps a passport has, the better chance a participant will have of winning a prize. The Hops & Heritage Passbook will run from June 25, 2022, to September 3, 2022. Hops & Heritage is the Chilliwack Museum & Archives annual fundraiser. Proceeds from this event will benefit accessibility upgrades to the Chilliwack Museum and emergency preparedness initiatives at the Archives.

Guided Nature Sessions are outings for residents hosted by a City of Chilliwack naturalist. We’re going to get down low and up close to discover the unique "natural magic" of our wetland ecosystems. Learn about the site history and the restoration efforts underway by people and wildlife, like beavers, that call it home. Listen for frogs as we learn about recent invaders impacting our natural species of amphibians. Meander along streamside trails while watching for a wide array of birds defending their territory during nesting season. Taste wild berries growing in the diverse "riparian area" and see some ways to help identify them for your future outings.
