| Description: The Chilliwack & District Seniors’ Resources Society is hosting a community education on Frauds & Scams. Everyone welcome, no membership is required. Please RSVP to 604-793-9979. Unfortunately, fraudsters continue to target seniors, and it is estimated that from January 2014 to December 2016, Canadians age 60 to 79 lost almost $28 million to various scams. Kevin Haarhoof and Trevor Crane with Corporate Security department of First West Credit Union will give important information on how to keep yourself from becoming a victim.
