Ann Davis Transition Society
About:
Ann Davis Transition Society (ADTS) is a distinguished non-profit organization founded in 1979 by concerned members of the Chilliwack community who recognized the urgent need for a shelter to support victims of family violence. Today, Ann Davis Transition Society stands as a prominent community resource, operating two safe houses, a local outreach program, and an administrative office, all centrally located in Chilliwack, BC.
Our comprehensive services encompass family, couples, individual, and group counseling. The ADTS Community Outreach program provides essential support to community members, including clothing, snacks, clinics, food assistance, and other necessary items.
The Women's Centre offers a 19+ community housing option for individuals escaping abuse and facing homelessness. This shelter is exclusively for women and operates on a self-referral basis. Our Transition House is a self-referral, family-friendly environment for women and children seeking refuge from abusive situations.
Our Administrative Office, located at 9046 Young Road, serves as a vital community resource offering counseling and legal advocacy services.
ADTS also provides opportunities for volunteering, practicum placements, and internships. For more information about our programs or to get involved, please contact us at [email protected]
