Curbside Recycling Star Program
The City of Chilliwack is launching a new and exciting Curbside Recycling Star Program to celebrate residents who are Recycling SUPERSTARS! Residents who help reduce contamination in our curbside recycling program will be rewarded with a chance to win a $25 gift card. 
How to Win?
From June to December, City staff and co-op students will conduct curbside recycling audits at random to ensure non-compliant materials are not placed in the blue bin. If your recycling has only compliant materials, we will place a gold star sticker on your container.
To enter the draw, scan the QR code on the gold star sticker or visit the Recycling Superstar link. One winner is selected each month and staff will confirm the sticker was issued during an official audit.
Residents who did not receive a gold star, don’t be discouraged! If your recycling is nearly perfect, with only one type of non-compliant item(s), you will receive a blue star. Scan the QR code on the sticker to visit our Curbside Recycling Website to find out how to dispose of the material, and the collection crew will pick up all your recycling on your next collection day. You'll have a chance to enter the contest the next time we conduct another audit in your neighbourhood.
Rules and Eligibility
- Curbside Recycling Star Program is only open to residents who participate in the City of Chilliwack’s Curbside Collection Program and have received a Gold Star sticker on their recycling bin.
- One winner will be randomly selected each month.
- Limit of one entry per property.
- Prizes are final – no substitutions will be made.
- All personal information collected by the City of Chilliwack will solely be used to administer the contest. All information is removed from our database once a winner is selected and the prize is claimed for each month.
- Winners will be required to provide a photo ID as proof of identity.
- Winners will be contacted by phone or email and must claim their prize within 30 days of initial contact. If the prize is not claimed, another winner may be selected.
How to Enter
- Scan the QR code on the gold star sticker or visit the Recycling Superstar link to enter to win.
- Enter your contact information and the date of audit.
- All entries must be received in the same year that they were issued.
