Parks & Trails

The Vedder Greenway extends from upstream of the Vedder Crossing Bridge to the Highway 1 crossing of the Vedder Canal. The area contains over 30km of inter-connecting trails and dykes, most of which are suitable for cycling.

On the north side of the river, the two longest trails are the Vedder Rotary Trail, which extends 8km from Vedder Park all the way west past the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, and the Vedder North Dyke Trail, which extends 9km from Webster Road to Highway 1. These trails intersect at several locations, offering opportunities for loop routes.

The Peach Creek Rotary Trail parallels both the Vedder Rotary Trail and the Vedder North Dyke Trail for 1.7km, connected at both ends at Lickman Road and the outlet of Peach Creek.

The 530m Centre Trail in the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve also provides a north-south connection between the two longer trails.
