Chilliwack Crime Prevention Services
The Chilliwack RCMP recognizes the importance of crime prevention and education in a community. Crime is a problem that affects an entire community and often requires a community based solution. Chilliwack Crime Prevention Services focuses on assisting the public by providing education and crime prevention techniques, which will enhance levels of public safety for Chilliwack's citizens.
Through various policing initiatives, the Chilliwack RCMP strive to be accessible to the public they serve. For this reason, the Chilliwack Crime Prevention Services office was developed.

Please be aware, we are experiencing a considerable amount of Scams, Frauds, and Cons which prey upon all types of vulnerable people. These scams are coming via telephone, mail and the internet and individuals are operating under the guise of very reputable government agencies to commit their criminal offences. For example: Canada Revenue Agency (where people are asked to provide their SIN number, credit card number, and/or bank account information) or BC Hydro (where you may be asked to make a payment under the threat of a termination of service). In addition, fraudsters may claim to be collecting donations for charities and non-profit organziations, such as a Community Policing Society and/or Fire Fighters Association.
***Please do not send any personal or financial information via: Telephone, mail, and/or the internet. Always research the organization for legitimacy prior to donating money and ask questions to the organization or individual to confirm their authenticity.***
Please be aware and always use your judgement! If you require any more information in regards to Scams, Frauds, and Cons, please feel free to contact us.
