Depression: Beyond Just Feeling SadMay 2, 2017 - May 2, 2017

7 pm - 8:30 pm. In this presentation, Chilliwack Mental Health clinician, Lenore Smith, R.N., will explain depression as a syndrome. Learn the warning signs of depression and when the way you are feeling is a far more serious medical condition than just feeling sad. Depression impacts a person’s feelings, their behaviours, physical well-being and relationships with others. Explore the cycles of depression and how to cope with them. Check out some preventative strategies. Discover the variety of treatments that are available and where you can find help when you or someone you love is struggling with depression.
