Description: The Canyon to Coast Event has been created to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and to showcase the incredible Fraser River, Cheam Mountain Range and Chilliwack's surrounding landscapes. It is a family friendly event! Island 22 Park and the Canyon to Coast Trail showcase the beautiful landscapes of Chilliwack. Our event routes are mainly flat with a mix of farm roads and urban style wide path trails. Our course is going to take you alongside the Fraser River, through farm lands and if your doing the marathon, all the way to the Agassiz Bridge. You are going to be looking at the Cheam Mountain Range while running east and north of us is Minto Island. Views to the southeast sweep across verdant farmland to the dramatic soaring Cascade Mountain range in the distance. We have a Marathon 42km route, a Half Marathon 21k route, an 11km route and or a 4km route to choose from. Our Marathon Route is an out and back to the Agassiz Bridge, the 21km and 11km routes are also out and back courses. The 4km route loops through the trails within Island 22. We welcome all paces and highly recommend this flat stunning course as a first Marathon or Half Marathon. OR for those looking to get a speedy time.

Description: The Ryder Lake Ramble is a self-guided tour of farms and gardens in Ryder Lake featuring 13 properties spread across the valley with many also hosting local craft vendors. Admission is by donation with a suggested $10 minimum per person or $20 per family. Entry wristbands and maps will be available at the Ryder Lake Hall, 49265 Elk View Rd. This year food including breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, muffins and refreshments will be available for purchase in collaboration with the Chilliwack Fire Department Charitable society. Description: “Life to the Limit” invites audiences to step into the lives of two Kyiv filmmakers who left behind an Oscar nominated documentary to volunteer on Ukraine’s eastern front. Through their own footage and memories, the film reveals how the russia Ukrainian war unfolded in the 21st century, exposing the human cost of conflict and the resilience that emerges from tragedy. The original film, “Winter on Fire,” earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature, underscoring the filmmakers’ dedication and impact. Alongside the screening, a curated art exhibition showcases works by Ukrainian artists displaced by war. Each piece—ranging from expressive paintings to mixed media installations—captures themes of loss, hope, and renewal.
