Work:

The key Contract objectives are:

  • Operate the landfill in accordance with federal, provincial, regional and local permits, regulations and guidelines, and following best management practices to assure performance of high quality;
  • Operate the landfill in a manner that maximizes public and contractor safety;
  • Operate the landfill in the most efficient and cost effective manner, minimizing the consumption of airspace;
  • Operate the landfill in a manner as to maximize customer convenience; and
  • Operate the landfill with minimal disruption to surrounding residents.
