The City of Chilliwack owns and maintains 43 sanitary sewer pumps, and of those 43 stations there is the need to upgrade some stations to allow for bypass of the wet well during emergency situations. The bypasses are to be installed on the discharge force main of the selected pump station sites. This RFQ has been released to install two such bypasses at SPS #6 and #9.
The City of Chilliwack is requesting quotations for the supply of all labour, supervision, equipment, materials, and consumables necessary for the installation of two emergency bypasses.
Due to the nature of the installations, a mandatory project meeting will be held to discuss options prior to the submission of your quote. The project meeting will start at the Civic Works Yard and will progress to each site. Meeting will start at 1:30 pm on April 21, 2009.
