Work:
The City of Chilliwack is seeking Expressions of Interest from Design-Build Proponents to design and construct Phase 2 of the East Dyke Upgrades.  The goal is to complete upgrades to the maximum length of dyke possible, within the allowed budget.  Project funding is anticipated through the Provincial Flood Protection Assistance Fund; however, the project budget has not yet been set.  The budget range is $267,000. to $400,000.  Confirmation of the project budget will be included in Stage 2 - Request for Proposals.

Sealed Expressions of Interest (EI) from complete teams clearly marked with the Proponent's name, address and "East Dyke Upgrades - Phase 2" shall be received by the undersigned at the office of the City of Chilliwack not later than 3:00 p.m., local time, June 10, 2003 and used to 'short list' the Proponents.  Proponent teams or individuals not possessing the complete expertise, ie., both design and construction, will not be considered.  A maximum of three (3) teams will be invited to submit detailed Proposals.

RFEI documents may be obtained from the City of Chilliwack - MAIN RECEPTION DESK or by downloading from the City's web page on or after May 20, 2003.
