2006 Vedder River Floodway Gravel Removal and Gravel Sale Back

Work:

The Ministry of Environment invites tenders for the purchase of approximately 96,000 cubic meters of river gravel from seven separate sites on land owned by the Ministry in the Vedder River.  In addition, the City of Chilliwack invites tenders for the removal of approximately 110,000 cubic meters of gravel from five separate sites on land owned by the City in the Vedder River and Canal.  Gravel from the five City sites will be excavated and transported to designated stockpile locations by the successful contractor(s), but the gravel shall remain property of the City.

SECURITY:  Performance Security in the amount of 50% of accepted unit price times awarded volume in cubic meters.
