Sub Neighbourhood Park
The play structures at Philippson Family Park, on Promontory, along Sylvan Drive were officially opened to the public on Saturday June 26th, 2021. The addition of this greenspace helps satisfy the need of a neighbourhood park for the surrounding residents in the area. The land was donated by Rodney Philippson (a long-time resident of Promontory) and was developed into a nautical style playground, to reflect Mr. Philippson's career as a West Coast Fisherman. In addition to the playground the City installed embankment slides, benches and a drinking fountain.
- Access for person(s) With disability(ies): Paved pathways around the park play structures.
