| Description: The BCRMTA, an association of professional private music teachers, has been active in Chilliwack since the mid-1940s. We have 23 teachers who live and teach in the communities of Chilliwack, Rosedale, Sardis, Promontory, Ryder Lake and Hope. A wide range of teaching styles is offered in piano, violin, voice, organ, percussion and trumpet as well as all theoretical subjects required for Conservatory examinations. We offer opportunities to perform in community recitals and provide bursaries for exceptional performances in examinations and the Chilliwack Lions Music Festival. | |

We have country in our name but our members play all genres of music. Jam sessions are held every Saturday night at 7:00pm in the Chilliwack Senior Recreation Centre located at 9400 College St. Chilliwack, BC. There is a $5.00 entry fee which covers the cost of room rental and coffee.
