Work:

The City of Chilliwack is seeking Proposals from qualified engineering professionals to design a paved receiving area at the Bailey Sanitary Landfill for household garbage and recyclable materials.

*The objective of this project is to improve the convenience and efficiency of the unloading and subsequent handling of garbage and recyclable materials at the Bailey Sanitary Landfill.

*The location of work is the Bailey Sanitary Landfill, on Matheson Road, off Bailey Road, in Chilliwack.

Sealed Proposals clearly marked with the Proponent's name, address and "Residential Waste and Recyclables Receiving Area Design, Bailey Sanitary Landfill" shall be received by the undersigned at the office of the City of Chilliwack not later than 3:00 p.m., local time, July 8, 2003.

RFP documents may be obtained from the City's Main Reception Desk on or after June 10, 2003.  Alternatively, the documents may be downloaded from the City's website at www.chilliwack.com/bids.
