The City of Chilliwack Requires Consulting Services proposals to complete an Assessment of Flood Protection Alternatives for the area of Chilliwack protected by the Wing Dyke, Hope River Floodwall, Town Dyke and East Dyke. 

The objective of this project is to complete an evaluation of flood protection alternatives for the Hope River, which will include, at a minimum:

  • A review of the existing level of flood protection
  • Identification of alternative flood protection measures, both temporary and permanent; and
  • A risk/benefit assessment of the alternatives to determine a recommended solution.

There will be a non-mandatory pre-submission information meeting on July 11 at 10:00 am at the Chilliwack City Hall.

Request for Proposal Documents may be downloaded from the City of Chilliwack web site at www.chilliwack.com/bids or may be picked up from the Main Reception Desk of the City of Chilliwack Municipal Hall located at 8550 Young Road, Chilliwack, BC.
