Community Parks
The City of Chilliwack, in partnership with the Chilliwack Parks Society and the Fraser Valley Mountain Bike Association, has opened access to 100 acres of City-owned forest property. This park includes picnic facilities, an outhouse and a multi-use trail system for hiking, biking and running.
Phase one consists of a 2.5km beginner level trail loop and several moderate trail loops. The shorter trail features interpretive signage and resting benches at scenic viewpoints and less than a 5% average grade. The moderate trails feature grades up to 9% and multiple looping options.
With its multitude of trails and quiet, natural beauty, the Community Forest has something for every age and fitness level.
