Sub Neighbourhood Park

Play structures in this park were removed in 2003 as they did not comply with CSA safety standards. The City’s annual program to replace all of the non-CSA conforming equipment funded the replacement of this equipment in 2014.

This park and the newly installed playground equipment now forms half of a play structure service area for residents within a 500m-600m walking area of the block bounded by Hope River Road to the south, Kent Road to the east, Strathcona Road to the north and Shamrock Drive to the west. The playground in Topley Park now provides play opportunities for the 2-5 year old age group while the playground in Hymar Park provides play for the other 5-12 age group.
