1. Notice is hereby given, the City of Chilliwack (the City) is a member of Sourcewell and is eligible to procure through the cooperative contracts that is administered by Sourcewell.

2. Sourcewell’s cooperative contract purchasing leverages the national purchasing power of more than 50,000 member agencies while also streamlining the required purchasing process. As a municipal national contracting agency, Sourcewell establishes and provides nationally leveraged and competitively solicited purchasing contracts under the guidance of the Uniform Municipal Contracting Law. Joint Power laws enable members to legally purchase through the awarded contracts.

3. The City of Chilliwack (Sourcewell Member #163489) is utilizing the Sourcewell Contract #032119-CAT Maturity Date: 05/13/2023 to Finning (Canada) a division of Finning International Inc., for the recommended award and purchase of:
• Three (3) Caterpillar 420 Backhoe Loaders. Purchase price $182,288.00 CAD each exclusive of taxes.
• Two (2) hydraulic thumb attachments. Purchase price (including install) $7,756.67 CAD each exclusive of taxes.
• One (1) hydraulic compactor attachment. Purchase price (including install) $11,622.51 CAD exclusive of taxes.
