The City of Chilliwack is seeking Expressions of Interest from Design-Build Proponents to design and construct eight new team dressing rooms and other ancillary spaces at its Twin Rinks Ice Arena Complex. Additions and renovations to the existing complex are required to accomodate the growing needs of the community.

The City's anticipated scope for the additional space requirement is estimated to be approximately 700 square meters. The area of existing building to be renovated is estimated to be in the order of 100 square meters.

CLOSING:

Seales Expression of Interest (EI) from complete teams clearly marked with the Proponent's name, address and "Twin Rinks Addition/Renovation Design Build Project" shall be received by the undersigned at the office of the City of Chilliwack not later than 3:00 p.m., local time, April 15, 2004 and used to "short list" the Proponents. Proponent teams or individuals not possessing the complete expertise, ie. both design and construction, will not be considered. A maximum of three (3) teams will be invited to submit detailed proposals.
