The City is looking for interested proponents to operate a concession year round at the Twin Rinks Arena. Twin Rinks is located at 5725 Tyson Road, and is the home of Chilliwack Minor Hockey. The Sardis Flyers Speed Skating Club calls Twin Rinks home and the Cheam Figure Skating Club uses the rink on a regular basis. There are also a variety of additional users that use the facility on a weekly basis.
The purpose of this project is to provide for two objectives:
- To provide concession services for City of Chilliwack public and school skates.
- To offer additional services to minor hockey, figure skating, speed skating and other users of Twin Rinks.
The Contractor will be responsible to outfit the concession with the appropriate supplies to offer a fully functional concession.
The Contractor must operate the concession from September 1 to March 31 each year, and may operate additional months based on their operational plan.
A site meeting will be held at the Twin Rinks Arena concession on August 9, 2011 at 10:00 am. |
