The City of Chilliwack is seeking Requests for Expressions of Interest to design and construct the following works:

*  Widening of Young Road from north of Brooks Avenue to north of Trethewey Avenue to allow for 5 lanes of traffic plus bike paths (approx. 450 meters);

*Upgrading the Young Road/Chilliwack Central intersection including fully actuated pedestrian and vehicle signalization.

The object of the Project is to make the necessary improvements to Young Road to provide improved vehicular movements and increased pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes.

Sealed EIs from Respondents clearly marked with the Respondent's name, address and "2004 Young Road Improvement Project" shall be received by the undersigned at the office of the City of Chilliwack not later than 3:00 p.m., local time, March 16th, 2004.
