The City of Chilliwack is requesting Expressions of Interest from qualified consulting firms who possess the required personnel, experience and reources to conduct a Solid Waste Composition Study. 

The objective of this study is to identify the major waste generators and detail the composition of the solid waste stream originating within the City's boundaries for the purpose of more effective waste reduction and diversion.  The study will identify the quantity and composition of waste originating within Chilliwack including that which is not received at the Bailey Landfill.  The study will outline the generators and components of the waste stream which present the greatest opportunities for reduction and diversion.
