Work:

The project objective is to design and construct a leachate management system for the slope along the north perimeter of the existing landfill, which will include the landfill base layer (subgrade), the perimeter berm, composite liner, leachate collection system, leachate conveyance system, and the composite final cover.

This project will follow the conceptual design criteria for the Bailey Landfill North Expansion Area, which will be presented in the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage (North Expansion Area Design Brief prepared by Conestoga-Rovers & Associates). The leachate liner is required prior to landfilling progressing into the north expansion area. The conceptual drawings are presented in Appendix E.
