Work:

The City of Chilliwack is requesting expressions of interest (RFEI) from qualified General Contractors who possess the required personnel, experience and resources to provide construction services at the City of Chilliwack Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The scope of work generally consists of the following:

Construction of a new UV control bulding on an existing foundation. (block wall construction)
Install Owner supplies UV equipment and control panels.
Provide and install other process mechanical equipment including gates, actuators, weirs, and piping tie-in to connectin point of existing outfall.

RFEI documents may be picked up at the City's Main Reception desk on or after January 10th, 2006 or may be downloaded from the City's web page at www.chilliwack.com/bids. Inquiries may be directed to the City's representative "David Blain, P. Eng." at 604-793-2841.

Sealed EIs from Respondents clearly marked with the Respondent's name, address and "WWTP UV Disinfection System Installation" shall be received by the undersigned at the office of the City of Chilliwack not later than 3:00 p.m., local time, January 31st, 2006.
