The City of Chilliwack (City) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EIs) from qualified Respondents to
develop, design and construct the “2023 Utilities Upgrades Project “(the “Project”). The purpose
of this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is to solicit submissions from Respondents, with
expertise in municipal water main and sanitary sewer infrastructure engineering and construction.
The City may select up to three (3) Respondents who, at the RFP stage, will submit detailed
technical and financial Proposals for the Project, depending on the quality and nature of the
submissions received.
This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) outlines the opportunity for interested parties and
is intended to identify qualified Proponents who have the resources and skills to successfully deliver
the Project. This is intended to be a permissive document that stimulates comprehensive and
innovative EIs. The City shall not be obligated in any manner to any Proponent whatsoever until a
written agreement has been duly executed related to an approved Proposal. |
