The asphalt rehabilitation program is the annual paving contract for the City of Chilliwack to maintain and repair its road infrastructure. These works are primarily asphalt milling and paving but will also include: - Asphalt reclamation - Crack sealing - Manhole, catch basin, valve box adjustments - Road structure rebuilds (gravel base and subbase) - Line marking - Concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk remove and replace - Concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk improvements and install - Earthworks such as subgrade repair and geotechnical stabilization - Drainage improvements which may include manhole, catch basin or soak-away and associated piping and pipe bedding install; build or regrading of swales and French drains; adjusting grading profiles of existing roads. - Traffic control and occasional intersection control |
