Parks & Trails
Information on Parks & Trails - December 2025
Crews continue to clean up debris, assess impacts from heavy rainfall and windstorms, and restore roads. Some works require provincial approvals, such as the cleanup of debris under the Keith Wilson bridge, which was completed earlier this week.
River levels continue to drop, and the BC River Forecast Centre has removed all advisories for the Chilliwack River and tributaries. Watch Environment Canada for weather updates. Please continue to use caution around fast-moving rivers, creeks and culverts. No additional weather-related updates are anticipated at this time.
Crews are assessing conditions in our parks and trails and will continue to clean up and restore where needed. They have been busy with repairs on Rotary Trail, so effective Saturday, December 20, the following areas will be open to the public:
- Vedder Park to the Peach Creek Bridge, including the Peach Creek Trail loop
- Lickman Parking lot
- Crossing Park
- The dyke section from Keith Wilson Bridge (west side) to the Yarrow Community Centre

All other trail sections not listed above should be considered closed at this time, including Qoqó:lem Park. Please respect any closure signs and barriers; they are in place for your safety.
