The City of Chilliwack is seeking to engage the services of a qualified Consultant to comprehensively review and update the City’s form and character design guidelines (commercial, industrial, mixed use, residential, and small-scale multi-unit (incl. coach house and garden suite). The overarching goal of this Project is to make it easier to review and build in the community, with simple guidelines and a predictable review and approval process. The work undertaken should develop effective form and character design guidelines that provide clear direction for designers, architects and property owners, as well as act as a helpful evaluation tool for City Staff when reviewing development applications to ensure the proposal is a good fit in the community. |
