| Description: This Community Education session focuses on Financial Literacy and the Golden Years. As you age, financial concerns and considerations change. This session will explore types of financial institutions, deposit insurance, account options and what to look for. We will also look at investments TFSA vs RRSP along with saving strategies and registered investments. Other topics will be Estate Planning, Power of Attorney and Joint accounts with right of survivorship. Coletta Holmes, Executive Director with the Seniors' Resources Society, Rita Bilan and Jeannette Fernie on behalf of Envision Financial will share their experience and expertise. This session is offered at no charge however a donation of canned food to the Full Cupboard is appreciated. Please RSVP 604-793-9979 as refreshments will be served. |
