Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation works in partnership with the City of Chilliwack government, the Downtown Chilliwack Business Improvement Association (BIA) and the Chamber of Commerce to facilitate business growth and development in the community.
In June 2003 the City has joined with the University of the Fraser Valley, the Justice Institute of BC and the provincial government to redevelop lands at the former Canadian Forces Base Chilliwack into an education and research park.
