  Bylaws

The bylaws listed are provided for information purposes only, and the City of Chilliwack will not be responsible for their validity or completeness.  Where applicable, amendment bylaws have been consolidated with the original bylaw.  Individuals wishing to quote from or use the bylaws should consult the Clerk’s Department to ensure they are current and in force.

Bylaws that have been amended are considered to be "consolidated,'"which means all previous and current amendments have been combined.  A consolidated bylaw is identified with either the word "Consolidated" or a "(C)" after the title.

When bylaws are amended and consolidated, a "tracked change" version of the most recent changes is also available.  A tracked change version identifies the exisiting text with changes marked in red.  The bylaw is then identified with the word "Tracked" or a "(T)."

For legal and other purposes, certified copies of the official version may be obtained from the City Clerk, City of Chilliwack, 8550 Young Road, Chilliwack, BC  V2P 8A4.  Telephone:  .604.793.2986.

For information on enforcement of the regulatory bylaws, please contact Bylaw Enforcement.
