Relive the Vancouver Olympics with 14 Gold: Images from the 2010 Olympics, a solo photo exhibition by Chilliwack Progress photojournalist Jenna Hauck running Jan. 18 to Feb. 27 at the Chilliwack Museum, upstairs in the Chambers Gallery. Opening reception is Saturday, Jan. 18 from noon to 2 p.m. The majority of the images in this show never made it to the pages of The Progress, so 14 Gold is Chilliwack's chance to finally see what Hauck experienced in Vancouver and Whistler in 2010. Fittingly, the exhibition will be on display during the 2014 Olympics taking place in Sochi, Russia from Feb. 7-23. Admission is free on opening day (Jan. 18). For students who have finished Robotics Engineering 3.1, this course expands on their problem solving skills as they learn new concepts such as logic, looping, switches, cases, controllers, remote controls, and more. The emphasis is on programming structures, with increased focus on using variables, logic, and switches in programming.
