Sharon Gaetz

Mayor Sharon Gaetz has been serving the Chilliwack community since December 2, 1996 - first as a Councillor (12 years), and then since December 1, 2008 as Mayor. Besides being the Chief Executive Officer of the City of Chilliwack, Mayor Gaetz also serves her community by being a member of the:

  • Is married to her childhood sweetheart, Jim, and recently celebrated their 42nd Anniversary

  • In her spare time, Sharon enjoys walking, paddleboarding, swimming, hiking, biking and listening to good music. Strong Starbucks coffee and red wine are two of her guilty pleasures. She is a retired minister and family counselor.
