The purpose of the Request for Qualifications (RfQ) is to invite Interested Parties to submit
Responses to the City indicating their interest in and providing their qualifications for the
construction of the Chilliwack Pickleball Facility Project (the Project) for the City of Chilliwack.
It is expected the City will release the individual Request for Proposals in April 2024 with
preferred completion of the Project by July, 2025.
The Responses to this Request for Qualifications will be used to identify a shortlist of up to three (3) qualified Respondents who will be invited to respond to a Request for Proposal.
This RfQ provides some general information about the requirements for the Responses to this RfQ, and the process to be used to select the shortlisted Respondents.
The Scope of Work for this Project will include a new building with a floor area of approximately 28,500 square feet. Current plans include a reception/administration area of approximately 1,000 square feet and an open floor area of 27,500 square feet to accommodate 10 pickleball courts. The City has retained MQN Architects to design the facility. |
