The Optimist Club of Chilliwack
For almost a century, Optimist International has seen to the betterment of children and their communities. Through the volunteer efforts of millions of people, the world in which they live is made a better place. Optimist communities in Canada sponsor a wide range of activities through trying to find a cure for childhood cancer through the Childhood Cancer Campaign to conducting oratorical and essay contests for young people.
The Optimist Club of Chilliwack:
- Serves the local needs of the community and children
- Aids and encourages the development of youth through promoting an active interest in good government and civic affairs
- Builds fellowship and friendship
- Makes a difference in the Chilliwack community
