Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra

The Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra is a registered non-profit society incorporated in August 2008. The CMO was founded to give local volunteer musicians the opportunity to perform challenging orchestral repertoire while also being afforded the opportunity to perform with world-class soloists. Many of the finest musicians in the Fraser Valley perform with the CMO. Our orchestra provides local concertgoers the opportunity to hear high-quality performances of full symphonies, concertos, and other orchestral work at a reasonable cost and within their own community. The CMO is currently working with Artistic Director and Conductor Shannon Goldsmith, who is well known in the Fraser Valley for also conducting the Cascadia Wind Ensemble and local musical theatre productions.

The Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra appreciates the support of our community and looks forward to many great seasons ahead on our home stage at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.

If you are a musician interested in performing with the CMO or if you would like to become a donor or sponsor, please contact us at [email protected].
