• 10 weeks of workshops instruction
together with Individual Counselling

• Helps parents and children build healthy
connections to each other.
• Nurtures a parenting style that is more
reflective and less reactive.
WorkBC Employment
Services Centre (Sardis)

The Sardis WorkBC Employment
Services Center offers two types of
service. First, is Self-Serve which
is available to anyone looking for
employment. Self-Service includes:
• Job search resources
• Access to workshops like creating a
resume, interview skills, career planning
and more
• Up to date new computers
• Fax machine
• Telephones, including long distance for
employment purposes
• Photocopy services and printing
The second service is one to one support
which is available to individuals aged 16
years old and up who are not full-time
students, are working less than 20 hours
per week and eligible to work in Canada.
One to one services include but are not
limited to:
• One on one employment support and
planning
• Additional workshops
• Short-term training
• If eligible, potential long-term educational
opportunities
• Additional financial support to help with
job search and job start
• Specialized services available for unique
situations.
