Chilliwack Secondary
School Turf Field
Opened in early 2014, Chilliwack Secondary
School turf field is the newest synthetic field in
Chilliwack. Built in partnership with the Chilliwack
School District and the City of Chilliwack, the
field will accommodate school classes and
sports teams until 6 pm each school day and
community use will begin after 6 pm weekdays,
and all weekends and holidays.
The field is designed to accommodate field
hockey, full size soccer and mini soccer games
with permanent lines sewn into the turf. There
are field lights and washrooms available on site
as needed.

the Recreation and Culture Department at

Townsend Park Turf
Built in 2008, Townsend turf was Chilliwack’s
first synthetic turf field and is home to minor
football and soccer. The field dimensions and
line markings can accommodate games for CFL
football rules, full size and mini soccer, and field
hockey.
The field lights provide high quality lighting for
both evening games and practices, covered
team benches keep the players comfortable
during inclement weather and the bleachers can
accommodate between 400-500 spectators.
Team and referee change rooms, scoreboard
and public address system are available upon
request and perimeter fencing surrounds the
entire field and spectator area providing security
for ticketed entry events. Full concession
services are available through the Chilliwack
Minor Football Association.
Twin Rinks
Located at 5725 Tyson Road, the Twin Rinks
ice arena was founded in 1982. It is the premier
location for public skating, drop-in hockey as well
as organized ice sports such as Minor Hockey,
Seniors Recreational Hockey, Figure Skating
and Speed Skating.
If you are planning a special event such as a
birthday party, or corporate event, Twin Rinks
can accommodate you with skate rentals and
meeting rooms.
