CLAY OPEN STUDIO
$6 Drop-In or $50 for 10 Drop-In Punch Card
Mondays: 6:00-9:00pm
Fridays: 10:00am-1:00pm
Sundays: 1:00 - 4:00pm
This open studio allows students to practice on
the wheel, handbuilding or finish work started
in class. Only work produced at the Chilliwack
Cultural Centre from clay purchased at The
Centre Box Office can be fired in our kilns. These
sessions are not designed to accommodate
production potters but to allow students to
independently develop their skills, nor are they
designed for private instruction. Work created
during this session will be glazed during a
scheduled open studio.
GLASS OPEN STUDIO
$9 Drop-In or $80 for 10 Drop-In Punch Card
Mondays: 6:00-9:00pm
This open studio allows students to hone their
glass-bead making skills in a non-instructional,
self-paced environment. Only students that
have completed a glass bead course at The
Centre are eligible to participate in the Glass
Open Studio. Glass rods are available for
purchase at the Centre Box Office and only glass
purchased or approved at the Centre Box Office
may be used at the Glass Open Studio.

The ability to draw the human figure is an
essential art form and vital to those who wish
to continue to develop their observational
drawing skills. The Life Drawing Studio is an
open studio for professional and emerging
artists, students, and anyone interested in
drawing the human form.The lifeDrawingOpen
Studio is composed of a friendly, welcoming
and very dedicated group of creative people.
People work independently and at their own
level of experience. While no formal instruction
is provided, support and encouragement is
given. The open studio format is designed to
work progressively from gestures through to
longer poses. A variety of male and female
models with different body shapes and ages are
booked for the Open Studio. Please bring your
own materials.
