The Care & Share Centre, The Salvation Army offers numerous social services in the community including a Voucher Program (providing free clothing and household items), Correctional Services (providing services to prison inmates and their families), Emergency Shelter and Homeless Outreach programs, as well as:

The Soup Kitchen which offers one free meal a day, Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.

The Bread Room which is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm daily. Free bread, pastries, and donated close-to-date food is available.

The Food Bank which offers emergency food to unemployed and underemployed people who are hungry. This service is available by appointment. Phone: 604-792-0001
