This Summer at the Chilliwack, Yarrow and Sardis Libraries
Bargain Books Galore!
Saturday June 7, 10 am–4 pm
The Chilliwack Library Book and Disc Blitz returns just
in time to stock up for summer reading, viewing and
listening pleasure. Discs are individually priced, and
books are $5 per bag. (We’ll even supply the bags.)
Come early and load up!
Music and More
Chilliwack and Sardis Libraries
Wednesdays in July and August
This year Music and More will alternate between Chilliwack
and Sardis Libraries. These weekly Wednesday outdoor
events feature children’s programs followed by musical
concerts. Drop by either library to pick up a detailed schedule.

Hey Kids! It’s time to chuckle, chortle
and laugh your way to the library
to join the Summer Reading Club.
Join the SRC and get a hilarious
reading record designed by BC
illustrator Jeremy Tankard. Win prizes,
see awesome shows and earn a
medal. Just read every day! Visit your
local library to join. Sign up starts in
June and continues throughout the
summer.
Storytimes in the Park

Library (If the weather is frightful,
we will meet inside.)
It’s summertime, so anything goes:
books, music, rhymes, performers
and games. Who knows what might
happen at Storytime in the Park?

Enter draws for every seven days of
reading. The more you read, the more
chances you have to win. This year’s
Adult Summer Reading Club theme is
“Funny Business.” Read anything and
anywhere! Come to the library with
your reading record for weekly entries
and chances to win great prizes.
Teen Programs
Teen programs at the Chilliwack and
Yarrow libraries include video games,
board and card games, crafts, anime
and manga, and plenty of time to have
great conversations and meet new
people. More information is available at
the libraries about Rated “T” for Teen,
Games Night, How’s That Made crafts,
and Genshiken.
