Puzzle Sale
Chilliwack Library’s ever-popular puzzle sale will
take place this year on Friday, February 8th and
Saturday, February 9th 2013. Bring your used
puzzles to the library in January to get a 50%
discount at the sale!
Library Programs for Children
The Yarrow and the Chilliwack Libraries present
story times for children. Library storytellers read
aloud, and children join in the fun with familiar
rhymes and songs (and learn some new ones,
too!) Yarrow and Chilliwack Libraries offer Family
and Pyjama Storytimes. Both libraries present
registered, special Babytime Storytimes in the fall
and spring.
Library Programs for Teens
Teen programs at the Chilliwack and Yarrow
libraries include video games, board and card
games, crafts, anime and manga, and plenty of
time to have great conversations and meet new
people. More information is available at the libraries
about Rated ‘T’ for Teen, Games Night, How’s That
Made crafts, and Genshiken. Chilliwack Community
Services and the Chilliwack and Yarrow Libraries
cooperate to make Teen Programs possible.
Library Programs for Adults
Special-Interest Programs
The Yarrow and Chilliwack Libraries present
programs for Adults and Seniors. Enjoy author
visits, topics of local interest, and the Chilliwack
Library Book Club’s lively discussions. For specific
program information, contact the libraries, search
our system-wide program database, or pick up a
copy of our program guide. Registration may be
required for some programs.
Conversation Circles
Drop in for a chat at the Chilliwack Library. Adults
wanting to practice English conversation chat with
each other and a volunteer from Chilliwack Learning
Community Society, who leads the conversation
each Monday evening.
