This year’s Adult Summer Reading
Club theme is UP, UP and AWAY. Read
anything and anywhere! Come to the
library with your reading record for
weekly entries and chances to win gift
cards from Starbucks, Tim Horton’s and
Chapters as well as assorted library
products. A grand prize will be drawn at
the end of the summer for a basket of
books and other goodies!
Library Programs
for Teens
Teen programs at the Chilliwack and
Yarrow libraries include video games,
board and card games, crafts, anime
and manga, and plenty of time to have
great conversations and meet new
people. More information is available
at the libraries about Rated ‘T’ for Teen,
Games Night, How’s That Made crafts,
and Genshiken. Chilliwack Community
Services and the Chilliwack and Yarrow
Libraries cooperate to make Teen
Programs possible.

Photo Contest
June 10 to August 31
Amateur photographers from Chilliwack
and area (Hope, Agassiz, and Yarrow)
can showcase their talent in the Friends
of the Chilliwack Library’s Annual
Photo Contest. After entries have been
judged, photographs will be displayed
in the library. Prizes will be awarded on
Wednesday, September 4, at 7:00 pm.

The City of Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley Regional Library are pleased to announce
that the Sardis Library is open at last! The newest addition to library services in
Chilliwack features abundant natural light, comfortable seating areas and a large
meeting room that is available to rent. The Sardis Library is conveniently situated next
to the Twin Rinks Facility on Tyson Road. Stop by to see this gorgeous new facility.
