Yarrow and Sardis Libraries:
No Peeking!
The newest library service is our Grab and
Go Bags! If you love a surprise or want to be
introduced to new authors, a bag of preselected
titles may be perfect for you. Choose your bag of
books by genre and drop by the front desk to sign
them out. We have Grab and Go Bags for Kids and
Teens too!
Music and More
Wednesdays in July and August
12:15 pm and 7:00 pm
The annual Music and More series features weekly
kids’ activities and evening concerts at Salish
Park, behind the Chilliwack Library. The events are
every Wednesday throughout the summer with the
children’s events starting at noon and the concerts
at 7:00 pm.

“Up, Up and Away!” Summer Reading Club
Chilliwack , Yarrow and Sardis Libraries
Hey Kids!
Dust off your wings, pump up your zeppelins, and
strap on your jetpacks. FVRL encourages you to go
Up, Up, and Away this summer when you join the
2013 Kids Summer Reading Club.
Sign up at your local library and receive a fabulous
free Reading Record and bookmark. Check us
out for fun free programs, contests and displays all
summer. Take part in weekly contests with great
prizes. Join in the fun with our exciting summer
programs, with a Magician, a ventriloquist, Janine
the Jenius, drop-in Storytimes, and more! Kids who
complete their Reading Record will be eligible to
receive a special Summer Reading Club medal!
The Summer Reading Club starts on June 10th and
it’s all absolutely free!
