PET PARADE:
Enter your pet and let it
show off in one of our crazy categories: Best
Dressed; Trickiest Trick; Owner Look-Alike
and others. Prizes galore to be won! This
event is sponsored by the Friends of the
Chilliwack Library. Entry forms are available at
the Children’s Desk at the library. Registration
deadline is Saturday, June 29.
July 10:
TEDDY BEAR PICNIC:
The Chilliwack
Family YMCA is proud to host our traditional
teddy bear picnic. Bring your teddy (or stuffy)
for a check up and join the fun.
July 17:
BREAK OUT THE DANCING SHOES:
Come and join students from the Chilliwack
School of Performing Arts for an afternoon of
musical performances and games! Break out
your dancing shoes and prepare for some
toe-tapping tunes as we sing, dance and act
our way through lunch time!
July 24:
TONY PROPHET:
Join musician Tony
Prophet for a hopping good time! With a bag
of kid-sized costumes and energetic songs,
he’ll have the whole family singing and
dancing along.
July 31:
CREEPY CRAWLERS:
Our bug world will
make you laugh and wiggle! Create great
craft projects and have fun while exploring
the world of insects. Children will enjoy our
games and creepy-crawly crafts!
August 7:
TURTLE TALK:
Learn all about the turtles
that live at the Great Blue Heron Nature
Reserve and how their amazing adaptions
help them live in the wetlands!
August 14:
MAPLE LEAF BIRD:
Join the Museum and
Archives staff to construct a maple leaf bird.
Suitable for all ages.
August 21:
SONGS AND MORE:
Singing, dancing and
more. Join the Chilliwack Family YMCA for
sunshine whatever the weather.
In the event of bad weather, noon hour
events will be cancelled by 11:00 am.

LUNCH TIME ACTIVITIES:
All noon hour activities take place at Salish Park beside the Chilliwack Library.
